Why give to the Legal Aid Foundation?

The Foundation’s purpose is to raise money to help meet the critical civil legal needs of low-income people in Colorado.  The money raised is given to Colorado Legal Services, which provides free civil legal assistance to those who need it most.  Justice is a lofty ideal, but for CLS clients, it is also food, shelter, necessary medical care and protection.

Unfortunately, we are unable to meet the needs of at least half of all those in Colorado who seek legal help, and studies indicate that only a fraction of those who need legal assistance actually seek it.

Your contribution is a great investment. Its value appreciates each time a family maintains or achieves self-sufficiency because legal aid was available in their moment of need.
