Last month, Colorado’s legal community gathered for the inaugural Pro Bono Summit, a day-long event dedicated to strengthening the culture of service in our state.
The Summit brought together lawyers, judges, and advocates from across Colorado to explore new strategies for expanding access to justice. Sessions emphasized collaboration, sustainability, and innovation in pro bono delivery, including “Getting the Most From Your Volunteers,” a dynamic panel moderated by Legal Aid Foundation & COLTAF Executive Director Jordan Bates-Rogers.
“The Colorado Pro Bono Summit was an incredible way to bring together different types of leaders and innovators from across the state,” said Brett Landis, Director of Pro Bono Resources, Colorado Access to Justice Commission. “I felt inspired by the interest in this event and the content shared by multiple people during the day!”
With over 300 attendees, the Pro Bono Summit was a powerful reminder of the legal profession’s capacity and commitment to meet the civil legal needs of all Coloradans.
