We are delighted to announced another addition to our leadership team! Charles Baker is returning to the Legal Aid Foundation Board of Trustees after previously serving on the Board, and we are delighted to welcome him back.
Charles recently retired as Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of Ball Corporation following a distinguished 30-year career with the company, where he played a key role in guiding corporate strategy, governance, compliance, and major business transactions.Â
Before joining Ball, he was a partner at the Toronto-based law firm Fraser & Beatty. Charles holds degrees from the University of Cambridge, the University of Toronto, and the University of Denver, and brings decades of legal, business, and governance experience to the Foundation.
We are truly grateful for Charles’ continued commitment to the Foundation’s mission and look forward to his leadership and perspective as he joins us again on the Board.
