Raising the Bar (and the Dance Floor): Pro Bono Bash Hits All the Right Notes in Support of Justice

At this year’s Pro Bono Bash, the dance floor wasn’t the only place where people were stepping up.

Earlier this month, the Boulder County Bar Association and the Legal Aid Foundation hosted the annual Pro Bono Bash at The St. Vrain in Longmont. The evening brought together members of the legal community for a lively celebration of service, complete with music, dancing, and a shared commitment to expanding access to justice. Proceeds from the event support Colorado Legal Services and the critical work they do to provide civil legal aid to those who need it most.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the John Marshall Pro Bono Award, given posthumously to Steven Meyrich. Steven was honored for his many years of dedicated pro bono service and his lasting impact on clients and colleagues alike. His commitment to ensuring that everyone has access to legal support continues to inspire the community.

We are grateful to everyone who attended, donated, and helped make the evening such a success. Special thanks to the Boulder County Bar Association for their partnership and continued leadership in supporting pro bono efforts. Events like the Pro Bono Bash are a powerful reminder that when the legal community comes together, it can make a meaningful difference—on and off the dance floor.

But while the celebration may have ended, the need for access to justice has not. Your continued support helps ensure that more Coloradans can get the legal help they need. Please consider making a gift to carry this impact forward.
