Colorado Legal Services opened 5,516 cases for low-income Coloradans in just the first six months of 2025!
That’s 2,207 housing law cases, which includes things like helping people in our communities stay in their homes; nearly 1,294 family law cases, including representing victims of domestic violence in divorce, custody, and protection order processes; and 725 consumer law cases, which includes things like helping Coloradans defend against illegal debt collection, prevent foreclosure, and navigate bankruptcy.
The need for legal aid in Colorado is as urgent as ever. From keeping families safely housed to helping survivors of domestic violence navigate the court system, legal aid is life-changing, and often, lifesaving.
Your gift to Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado supports the vital work of Colorado Legal Services and helps to ensure that every Coloradan, regardless of income, location, or circumstance, can access the legal support they need to stay safe, housed, and economically stable.
