We’re getting ready for the Legal Aid Foundation’s 2026 Associates Campaign and we’re calling on you and your firm to help make this year the most impactful yet!
This annual effort brings together young professionals and associates across Colorado to support access to justice for those who need it most. When you take part, you’re joining a community that believes everyone deserves legal representation, no matter their income.
The Associates Campaign is a friendly competition among Colorado law firms that takes place each March, uniting associates, partners, and staff to raise funds for Colorado Legal Services (CLS), the state’s largest provider of free civil legal aid for low-income Coloradans. By supporting CLS, we’re ensuring that people facing crises, such as domestic abuse, eviction, or loss of benefits, have access to legal representation and a fighting chance. The need is great—for every client served by CLS, at least one eligible person is turned away due to insufficient resources.
In 2025, the Associates Campaign raised nearly $500,000, well over that year’s goal and enough to fund the salaries and benefits of five legal aid attorneys at Colorado Legal Services. We’re raising the bar this year: our goal for the 2026 Associates Campaign is $550,000. That’s $100,000 more than last year’s target. With your help, we can smash that goal.
And that’s not all that’s new this year: we’re introducing a Corporate Counsel Challenge! Alongside the firm competition, this Challenge invites in-house legal departments to compete and support legal aid.
